Kuwait's KUFPEC seeks to enhance existence in Asia

KUALA LUMPUR, June 3 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC) seeks, through its office in Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur, to boost its regional existence and expand its exploration in Asia.
The office of KUFPEC in Kuala Lumpur presented a visual report by Yasmine Hussain on the basic business, operations and social responsibilities of the company, in addition to its future plans, in the presence of Kuwait's Ambassador to Malaysia Rashid Al-Saleh.
Speaking to KUNA in a statement, Al-Saleh lauded the company's activities and its regional office in Kuala Lumpur, stressing the importance of cooperation between the firm and the embassy.
Al-Saleh, meanwhile, discussed with Acting Director of KUFPEC office Ali Al-Saleem and its team the latest developments of the company's projects in Malaysia.
Al-Saleem welcomed, in a statement to KUNA, Al-Saleh's visit to the KUFPEC office. In 2021, KUFPEC achieved the largest gas exploration achievement in the company's history off the coast of Sarawak, east of Malaysia. (end) aab.hm
