RAMALLAH, May 26 (KUNA) -- A Palestinian man was killed and four others injured by the Israeli occupation forces and some settlers in the West Bank Friday.
Ala Qaisah, 28, succumbed to his injuries south of Al-Khalil (Hebron) City, Palestinian Health Ministry said.
Meanwhile, Israel's media reported that a soldier opened fire on a Palestinian man who tried to enter the settlement of Nana Omirim located on Al-Khalil Governorate, claiming that he was trying to carry out a stabbing attack.
The ministry said four Palestinians were wounded when some settlers threw stones on them and attacked them in Al-Mughayer town near Ramallah, adding that their conditions are stable.
Local sources said that tens of settlers attacked the farmers in the town and set fire to some vehicles and agricultural land, adding that the Israeli army intervened to protect the settlers.
The Israeli army has been imposing a blockade on the town for two weeks.
