KUWAIT, May 10 (KUNA) -- Twenty-three Kuwaiti citizens submitted their candidacy documents to the Ministry of Interior's election affairs department on Wednesday for the 2023 National Assembly election set on June 6.
This brings the total up to 142 applicants, 4 of which are female, since the registration started.
The first constituency includes two candidates: Abdulsamad Mustafa Zahed and Ali Abdulrasoul Al-Qattan, while the second constituency featured five candidates Ahmad Mohammad Al-Hamad, Abdullah Salem Al-Mutairat, Faraj Abdullah Al-Khudhari, Falah Thahi Al-Hajeri and Mejbel Mohammad Al-Enezi.
The third constituency includes four candidates: Ahmad Abdulaziz Al-Saadoon, Khalifa Ali Al-Hashash, Abdulaziz Tarek Al-Saqobi and Yaqoub Abdulmohsen Al-Sanea.
The fourth constituency includes nine candidates: Thamer Saad Al-Dhufairi, Saoud Saad Al-Mutairi, Shuaib Shabbab Al-Muwaizri, Abdulrahman Ghuraer Al-Adwani, Abdullah Fahad Al-Enezi, Abdullah Mutlaq Al-Mutairi, Ali Daham Al-Ruhaili, Marzouq Khalifa Al-Khalifa and Musaed Saad Al-Manea.
The fifth district three candidates: Salah Owaijan Ali, Ghanem Talea Al-Mutairi and Mohammad Hussain Al-Ajmi.
Last Friday, the Elections Affairs Department opened the registration for candidacy for the 2023 National Assembly elections, and it will last until the end of the official working hours on Sunday, May 14. (end) nmo.seo
