LONDON, Jan 28 (KUNA) -- British regional airline Flybe on Saturday officially declared bankruptcy due to financial problems since the outbreak of the Coronavirus in 2020.
The airline said in a statement that it has thus cancelled all flights and reservations of nearly 75,000 passengers.
"Flybe has now ceased trading and all flights from and to the UK operated by Flybe have been cancelled and will not be rescheduled," according to the statement.
Two joint administrators were appointed to Flybe.
Headquartered in Birmingham, Flybe operated flights on 21 routes to 17 destinations across the UK and European Union. (end)
