Two Indian Air Force fighter jets crash, one pilot killed, two ejected safely

New Delhi, Jan 28 (KUNA) -- Indian Air Force on Saturday announced that one pilot was killed after two fighter aircraft were involved in an accident near Gwalior city in Madhya Pradesh.
The Indian Air Force said in a statement in its official Twitter account: "Two fighter aircraft of IAF were involved in an accident near Gwalior today morning. The aircraft were on routine operational flying training mission. One of the three pilots involved, sustained fatal injuries. An inquiry has been ordered to determine the cause of the accident." According to media reports Russian made Sukhoi-30 and French made Mirage 2000 were involved in the accident that crashed in the Pahadgarh area of Morena district in Madhya Pradesh after taking off from Gwalior air base in the state.
