Five Palestinians shot near Nablus

RAMALLAH, Jan 27 (KUNA) -- Five Palestinian young men were shot and wounded by an Israeli settler and the Israeli forces at the entrance of Beita village, to the south of Nablus on Friday evening.
The settler opened fire and injured three of them, including one seriously, triggering clashes between the Palestinians and the Israeli occupation soldiers who fired rubber bullets and injured two others.
The five injured were rushed to Rafidia Surgical Hospital in the West Bank city of Nablus, according to Palestinian medical sources.
The shooting and the ensuing clashes come a few hours after seven Israeli settlers were killed in a shooting attack at Neve Ya'akov settlement in the occupied East Jerusalem. (pickup previous) nq.gb
