Arab League condemns Israeli aggression in Palestine's Jenin

CAIRO, Jan 26 (KUNA) -- The Arab League has strongly condemned the Israeli attack on the Palestinian city of Jenin, which left scores of causalities earlier Thursday.
In a statement today, Thursday, the General Secretariat of the Arab League held the Israeli government, led by Benjamin Netanyahu and his staff, fully responsible for committing the "horrible bloody massacre" in the camp and city of Jenin this morning, which is continuing until the moment.
The Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine and the Occupied Arab Territories of the Arab League, Dr. Saeed Abu Ali, stressed that this massacre is a continuation of the unjust war waged by the Netanyahu government since the beginning of the year in Jerusalem and all Palestinian cities.
The Arab League official called for an effective international action to compel the Israeli authorities to stop this criminal escalation.
Earlier today, several Palestinians were killed and scores of others injured during an Israeli troops aggression on the Jenin camp, north of the West Bank. (end) mfm.aa
