GAZA, Jan 13 (KUNA) -- Defying all odds and the grim reality surrounding them, couple Ramadan and Rima Khalaf use wool threads and nails to create philography art using wool threads and nails. The two continued to venture on with their artistic lives despite the seemingly ever-present Israeli blockade. The artists also are in demand, creating art for those interested in their craft. Philopgraphy art originated in the Ottoman era and subsequently, it was introduced to the region via Turkey and then Jordan. (end) wab.gta
