BASRA, Jan 10 (KUNA) -- The national team of Kuwait will be playing against the UAE on Tuesday within the second round of the 25th Gulf Cup held in Basra, Iraq.
Kuwait has lost its first match against Qatar by 0-2 goals and the team is eager for a its first win in the tournament. The UAE also lost its first match against Bahrain by 1-2.
The two teams met 20 times in the history of the tournament with Kuwait winning 10 times and the UAE in seven. They drew on three occasions.
The Gulf Cup began in Basra last Friday and will continue until January 19.
Kuwait and the UAE are part of Group B, which also includes Qatar and Bahrain. (end) aae.gta
