Gun attack on Pakistan Embassy in Kabul injures guard

ISLAMABAD, Dec 2 (KUNA) -- Pakistanآ’s head of the mission in Afghan capital city Kabul on Friday survived a gun attack in Pakistanآ’s embassy in Kabul, said media reports.
According to Pakistani news Express Tribune, Pakistan's chargأ© d'affaires Ubaid Ur Rehman Nizamani survived an attack on Pakistanآ’s embassy in Kabul on Friday.
Initial reports confirmed that Nizamani's guard got critically injured during the attack which took place in Kart-e-Parwan area of Kabul, where the embassy is located.
Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif in a statement on the incident said, "Salute to brave security guard, who took a bullet to save his life. Prayers for the swift recovery of the security guard. I demand immediate investigation and action against perpetrators of this heinous act." (end) sbk.mt
