Oil Ministry refers proposals on GCC media strategy to gas cmte

KUWAIT, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Oil announced Monday that it referred Kuwait's proposals on the GCC members' oil media strategy after modernizing it to the fifth meeting of the GCC oil and Gas Committee.
In a statement, the ministry said it took part in the virtual meeting in which it referred Kuwait's proposals on the oil media specialists committee.
Sheikha Tamadher Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Kuwait's representative to the GCC oil and gas committee and Director of Public Relations and Information at the Ministry, attended the meeting which discussed preparations for the 5th oil media gathering, and set its time and the host country.
Kuwait modernized the GCC oil media strategy for the next years to express aspirations and plans of the GCC member states towards their interests and policies, the statement quoted Sheikha Tamadher as saying.
She affirmed that Kuwait is working on highlighting the GCC oil policies and maintaining oil markets as well as making balance between supply and demand.
Sheikha Tamadher said oil developments required setting a flexible media strategy to cope pace with happenings, taking into consideration to revise and assess it every three years or if necessary, according to the statement. (end) km.aah.hm
