UAE foreign minister embarks on two-day India visit to discuss ties

NEW DELHI, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- UAE Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday began an official visit to India to discuss bilateral and global issues of mutual concerns.
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs said inna statement that UAE foreign minister began his two-day India visit heading a high level delegation. "During the visit, Sheikh Abdullah will hold talks with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar. The visit will be part of regular consultations between the two countries on bilateral as well as global issues of mutual interest," the statement said.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had met UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during his visit to the Gulf country on June 28 this year. "External Affairs Minister had also visited UAE on August 31- September 2, 2022 to co-chair the 14th Joint Commission Meeting and the 3rd Strategic Dialogue with UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed," the ministry stated.
