Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Al-Sudani with Kuwaiti Ambassador in Baghdad Tariq Al-Faraj
BAGHDAD, Nov 3 (KUNA) -- Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Al-Sudani discussed Thursday with Kuwaiti Ambassador in Baghdad Tariq Al-Faraj means to enhance bilateral relations.
Al-Faraj told KUNA, after their meeting, that he had reaffirmed Kuwait's support for Iraq's sovereignty, security and stability.
He informed the Iraqi premier about the Kuwaiti political leadership's sincere desire to strengthen fraternal bonds linking the two countries.
The Kuwaiti envoy also conveyed to Prime Minister Al-Sudani congratulations of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on his new post.
Al-Sudani voiced appreciation for the Kuwaiti political leadership's sincere sentiments towards Iraq and its people.
He hailed the deeply-rooted relations between the two countries, vowing to consolidate mutual cooperation. (end)
