Kuwaiti ambassador submits credentials to Senegal FM

KUWAIT, Oct 4 (KUNA) -- Adel Abdulkarim Al-Amir submitted Tuesday his credentials to Senegal's Foreign Minister Aissata Tall Sall as the Kuwaiti ambassador to the country.
Al-Amir met Tall Sall, in the presence of head of her office Jean-Antoine Joffe and head of protocol affairs Fatou Gaye, Kuwait's Embassy said in a statement.
During the meeting, Al-Amir conveyed the greetings of Kuwait's Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah to Tall Sall, the statement added.
He lauded the distinguished relations between the two countries under the wise leaderships of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Senegal's President Macky Sall, it noted.
In addition, the ambassador stressed Kuwait's keenness on boosting cooperation between the two friendly countries.
Meanwhile, the Senegalese minister affirmed the deep-rooted historical and friendly relations between Kuwait and Senegal.
She wished Al-Amir every success in his mission to serve common interests, conveying greetings of Senegal, President and government to Kuwait. (end) hm
