Kuwait Amir receives congratulatory cable from Omani Sultan

KUWAIT, Oct 2 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Sunday a cable from Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq congratulating him on second anniversary of assuming power as the country's top leader.
In the cable, Sultan Haitham wished His Highness the Amir everlasting wellbeing and affirmed keenness on bolstering the relations between the two sisterly countries.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah thanked the Sultan of Oman for his kind sentiments and hailed the sturdy and long lasting relations tying Kuwait and Oman. He wished Sultan Haitham good health and his country further progress and prosperity. (end) fh.gaa
