KUWAIT, Sept 23 (KUNA) -- Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khaled Al-Saud affirmed Friday that celebrating the 92nd anniversary of the Saudi national day represents a motive and mirrors determination of the Saudi youths to continue the process of construction and development in all fields.
In a press release on the occasion of the Kingdom national day, Prince Sultan said "this occasion brings us back to the glorious story of this country established by the late King Abdulaziz who unified the Saudi Kingdom and put the foundation of the modern state.
He pointed out the sincere steps taken by the Saudi people to build and develop an authentic and constant society, congratulating the Saudi leadership, royal family, government and people on this occasion. In this regard, he praised the Kingdom's development "Vision 2030" strategy aimed at attaining prosperity and progress to the Saudi people and for future generations.
The Kingdom's Vision 2030 includes the "Mecca Road" initiative to ease rituals during the annual Hajj season, the Red Sea Project, NEOM, the Green Saudi Initiative, the National Renewable Energy Program, the Qiddiya entertainment project, the historic Diriyah development program, the ShaheenSat satellite and many other development programs.
He also affirmed the continuation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's foreign policy in serving Arab and Islamic issues to achieve international peace and security.
The ambassador stated that the wise leadership is keen to strengthen Gulf relations at all levels, and this was represented in the recent Gulf tour undertaken by His Highness the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to strengthen Gulf cooperation in all fields.(end) fn.nhq
