Palestinian killed, dozens injured in clashes with Israeli forces in Nablus

RAMALLAH, Aug 18 (KUNA) -- A Palestinian man was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces after raids on the Eastern Area of Nablus early Thursday, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced.
The 18 years old, Wasim Abu Khalefa from Balata refugee camp died after he was hit by a live bullet in the chest, it said in a statement.
The society added that 75 other Palestinian were injured during the confrontations including three men in critical condition.
Meanwhile, dozens of young men confronted the occupation forces and settlers with stones and empty bottles, and the confrontations continued until dawn, with the soldiers using live bullets extensively. (end) nq.nhq
