Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan ink 14 cooperation pacts, MoUs

RIYADH, Aug 17 (KUNA) -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan on Wednesday hammered out fourteen agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) for bolstering cooperation in a variety of domains. The pacts were signed in a ceremony held in Riyadh following official talks between Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and visiting President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The MoUs and agreements covered a wide array of domains namely: energy, health, media, tourism, sports, agriculture, labor, customs, human rights, air transport, education, science and technology, and veterinary and livestock development. (end) mdm.ibi
