Kuwait University starts enrollment of expatriate students
KUWAIT, Aug 15 (KUNA) -- Kuwait University announced on Monday the start of accepting applications of foreign resident students, GCC students and high school graduates who wish to study at the university at their own expense, during the period from 21 to 27 August.
In a press statement, Acting Secretary-General of Kuwait University Dr. Muhammad Zainal, that the submission of applications will be electronic for students who meet the admission requirements, including graduates of the unified system, the religious institute, the American High School, and English high school graduates for students of Kuwait schools only.
He stated that foreign students can apply for admission to Kuwait University in ten faculties according to the vacant seats only, including the faculties of Arts, Education, Law, Sharia, Sciences, Social Sciences, Administrative Sciences, Life Sciences, Engineering, Petroleum and Allied Medical Sciences.
The foreign students allowed to apply are those who have obtained an average of 75 percent or more for the scientific section and 80 percent or more for the literary section of the secondary certificate, and must be high school graduates for the academic year 2021/2022 or the academic year 2020/2021.(end) asa.nhq
