GENEVA, Aug 15 (KUNA) -- Kuwait on Monday named ambassador Nasser Al-Hein as the country's permanent representative to the United Nations and international organizations, with the envoy submitting his credentials to head of the UN Office in Geneva (UNOG) Tatiana Valovaya.
Conveying the greetings of his country's political leadership, the Kuwaiti diplomat acknowledged the UN's pivotal contributions across various fields, chiefly, the global body's humanitarian endeavors.
Similarly, the UN official heaped praise on Kuwait's humanitarian devotion, underlining the country's ties with the UN and other international organizations.
