Arab League still optimistic of reaching solution to crisis in Ukraine - Amb.

CAIRO, Aug 11 (KUNA) - The Arab League Assistant Secretary-General, Ambassador Hossam Zaki stressed Thursday that the Arab League is still optimistic about the possibility of reaching a solution to the current crisis in Ukraine.
This came in remarks by Ambassador Zaki to reporters after the meeting of the Arab League Council at the level of permanent delegates, during which Ukraine's special envoy for the Middle East and African affairs, Ambassador Maxim Sobh, discussed the latest developments in the Ukrainian-Russian conflict.
He also noted that the Ukrainian envoy presented their country's viewpoint on regional and international developments, the Ukrainian-Russian crisis, the military and economic situation in Ukraine, and the situation in the Middle East. (end) mfm.aa
