Kuwaiti cyclist Al-Ali during coronation with silver medal
KONYA, TURKIYE, Aug 11 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti national team player for cycling, Sayed Jaafar Al-Ali, won Thursday the silver medal in the race against time team competition of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya, Turkiye.
Al-Ali completed the race in 30:55:29 minutes, and snatched the second place.
Kuwait is participating in the games with 60 male and female athletes vying in ten games including karate, swimming, judo and shooting as well as others.
The games will run until August 18 with the participation of about 6,000 athletes of more than 50 Islamic countries. (end)
