MOSCOW, Aug 5 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation decided Friday that 14 Bulgarian diplomats are personae non gratae.
The decision came in response to similar moves by the Bulgarian authorities against 70 members of the Russian diplomatic missions, including the move to shut down the Russian consulate in Ruse city, northeast Bulgaria.
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs cautioned, in a statement today, the Bulgarian government against the consequences of "such unconstructive measures."
The statement noted that the Bulgarian measures are harmful to the traditional relations and violate the rights of the Russian nationals to consular services. (end)
