Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union welcomes extended truce in Yemen

BEIRUT, Aug 4 (KUNA) -- The Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union welcomed on Thursday the decision to extend the truce in Yemen for two additional months.
In a press statement, the AIPU said the extended truce could help alleviate the tough humanitarian situation in Yemen, noting the importance of cooperating with concerned parties to achieve security and stability in Yemen.
The statement also stressed on the importance of adhering to the terms of the Yemeni national dialogue. (end) ayb.ahm
