OPEC+ ministers weigh modest output boost

VIENNA, Aug 3 (KUNA) -- Oil ministers of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and allies including Russia, known as OPEC+, are set to come together for a videoconference on Wednesday to look into production policies amid forecasts of a limited output boost.
The alliance's joint ministerial committee will meet first to set out arrangements for the ministerial meeting.
During its meeting in July, the alliance had decided to boost its output by 648,000 barrels per day for July and August of this year.
Experts expect output levels for September to be almost in tandem with the recently agreed level, based on the supply and demand mechanism and adequate oil supplies at present. (end) amg.mt
