US offers USD 10 mln reward for information on foreign interference in its elections

WASHINGTON, July 28 (KUNA) -- The US has offered a reward of USD 10 million for information on foreign interference in its elections.
The reward, which will be administered by the Department of State, "seeks information leading to the identification or location of any foreign person, including a foreign entity, who knowingly engaged or is engaging in interference in US elections," read a statement.
Additionally, it will look to search for "information leading to the prevention, frustration, or favorable resolution of an act of foreign election interference." A leading suspect the Department of State went on to highlight is Russian national, Yevgeniy Viktorovich Prigozhin, who allegedly provided funding to Internet Research Agency, IRA, a Russian company the US accuses of "political and electoral interference operations."
