France's current inflation to drop down by 2023 -- official

PARIS, July 28 (KUNA) -- The current inflation rate in France will drop down by 2023, said the French government's spokesperson Olivier Veran.
In a statement to the press during his visit to employees on Thursday, Veran said that the government is taking measures to reduce the inflation rate by interfering with purchase power.
The French national society had already approved the "urgen purchasing power" draft law with 20 billion euros to help low-income families in facing the impact of inflation.
Last June, statistics have shown a big rise in consumers price rates, the main indicator in French inflation rate to 5.8 percent, compared to 5.2 percent in May.
The war in Ukraine played a role in this rise, as fuel and food prices went higher in Europe. (end) ma.ag
