KUWAIT, July 24 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti national team reached the podium of 17th Asian Men's Junior (U21) Handball Championship after defeating the Saudi peer 27-21 on Sunday.
The game, held at Khalifa indoor court in Bahrain, saw the Kuwaiti team in control throughout the match.
They managed to finish the first halftime 12-9 and expanded their lead to 27-21 to secure the bronze medal.
The Bahrain team, the hosts, are scheduled to face Japan's in the final later this evening. (end)
