AMMAN, July 24 (KUNA) -- King Abdullah II of Jordan affirmed that the Palestinian cause is his country's top priority and is the key to achieving peace and stability in the region.
Economic empowerment is not a replacement for political solution, said King Abdullah, noting the need to include Palestinians in regional projects.
He underlined the importance of a unified Arab stance to resolve the issue, as well as to face the growing threat of terrorism and organized drug and weapon smuggling networks.
Speaking on Jeddah's summit, the king said that the participation of US President Joe Biden represents America's attempt to find political solutions for the region's crises. (end)
