Sweden to extradite 73 terrorists to Turkiye - Erdogan

ANKARA, June 30 (KUNA) -- Sweden has vowed to extradite 73 terrorists to Turkiye, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday, after agreeing a deal that saw Ankara end opposition to its NATO membership bid.
This comes after the two countries and Finland, signed a memorandum following four-way talks in Madrid alongside NATO.
The deal allows membership to the 30-member military alliance for the two Nordic countries on the condition they take steps to address Turkiye's terrorism concerns and lift an arms embargo on Ankara.
They will also work closely with Turkiye on the exchange of information, extradition and the fight against terrorism, particularly in regards to the "PKK and all its extensions," Erdogan revealed. (end) akw.sd
