Israel parliament votes to dissolve itself

RAMALLAH, June 30 (KUNA) -- Israel's parliament, Knesset, on Thursday voted for a bill dissolving itself and setting November for early parliament elections for the fifth time in less than four years.
Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid will act as a caretaker prime minister just at midnight on Friday, taking over from Naftali Bennett, Israel's shortest-serving prime minister, according to Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation.
The move brings an end to a yearlong government jointly formed by Bennett and Lapid, Israeli Channel 24 reported. (end) nq.mt
