KUWAIT, June 29 (KUNA) -- National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim left to Azerbaijan on Wednesday to take part in the Parliamentary Network of Non-Aligned Movement Conference.
According to "Al-Dustoor" news network, the tongue of the Kuwaiti parliament, Al-Ghanim will address a speech on behalf of the Kuwaiti delegation during the conference, due in the capital Baku, under the patronage of Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev.
The conference's theme is "Enhancing the Roles of National Parliaments in Promoting Peace and Sustainable Development Worldwide."
Al-Ghanim was seen off by Deputy Speaker MP Ahmad Al-Shuhoumi, Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Mohammad Al-Rajhi and National Assembly Secretary General Adel Al-Loughani. (end)
