Saudi Arabia voices deep sorrow for victims of Aqaba gas blast

RIYADH, June 28 (KUNA) -- Saudi Foreign Ministry voiced Tuesday deep sorrow and pain for victims of the gas tank blast at Aqba port, Jordan.
In a statement, the ministry said that it stands in solidarity with its brothers in Jordan in condolences to those who lost their loved ones, and wishing a swift recovery to the injured and the kingdom of Jordan and its people peace and stability.
Spokesperson on behalf of the Hashemite Kingdom, Faisal Al-Shabul, announced Monday that a crane malfunction caused the drop of a tank, carrying poisonous gas, making a huge blast, killing 10 people and injuring 234 others. (end) mdm.aai
