AMMAN, June 27 (KUNA) -- The number of victims from the chlorine gas leak and blast in the Jordanian port of Aqaba in the Red Sea has increased to 12 people killed and 260 injured.
According to a statement by Jordan's National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) there are 123 Jordanians and foreigners who are receiving treatment in hospitals.
NCSCM added that their teams were able to place a 500 meters under restriction area and evacuated people at the coast area.
The statement also noted that a field hospital was setup nearby to help those in need. (Pickup previous)
