WASHINGTON, June 25 (KUNA) -- US Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke Saturday with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in which they discussed "ongoing support for Ukraine in the face of Russia's continued aggression".
State Department Spokesperson Ned Price said in a statement that Blinken "expressed appreciation for the Foreign Minister's diplomatic efforts to enable Ukrainian agricultural exports to reach global markets".
The statement added that Blinken and Cavusoglu also discussed "the importance of NATO unity in the lead up to the June 29-30 NATO Summit in Madrid". (end)
