US provides further USD 450 mln security assistance to Ukraine

WASHINGTON, June 23 (KUNA) -- The US pledged on Thursday an additional USD 450 million in security assistance for Ukraine, according to the White House.
The package contains "weapons and equipment including new high mobility artillery rocket systems, tens of thousands of additional rounds of ammunition for the artillery systems that have already been provided as well, and patrol boats," White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told reporters.
