DOHA, June 21 (KUNA) -- Deputy Chairman of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Sabah said on Tuesday that the State of Kuwait has plans to upgrade the crude output to meet forecast needs of the oil In remarks to KUNA during his participation in the 2022 Qatar Economic Forum, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Sabah said the State of Kuwait has been executing investments in the oil sector to meet demand for the crude oil and the derivatives.
Kuwait has the capacity to increase the petroleum production, he said, noting the initial operation of the fourth refinery, Al-Zor, the largest at the regional level.
The forum has grouped more than 500 leaders from around the world. (end) nnd.rk
