RAMALLAH, May 27 (KUNA) -- A Palestinian teenager was shot dead in neck by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank city of Bethlehem on Friday, according to local medial sources.
Zaid Ghunaim, 15, succumbed to his wounds during clashes with the Israeli forces in the city where dozens others were injured, the Palestinian Ministry Health said in a statement.
Medical teams offered first aid to the injured on the spot, said Ahmad Jebril, director of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Dept. of Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
There were varied wounds like live and rubber bullets, and suffocation as well as others, he noted in statements to KUNA.
In addition, some Palestinians were wounded by the Israeli forces, which tried to attack facilities and houses of Palestinians, north of Nablus. (end)
