Official: Kuwait customs keen on participating in security exhibitions

DOHA, May 25 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Customs is keen on participating in regional and international security exhibitions to gain experience and develop staff abilities, said a top Kuwait customs official on Wednesday.
Speaking to KUNA on the sideline of the 14th security and safety exhibition (Milipol Qatar), Director General of Kuwait Customs Suleiman Al-Fahad said that such events provided experience for Kuwaiti customs staff, exposing them to the latest in security procedures and tools.
He commended Qatar's organizing prowess of the event, saying that this year's edition had many useful functions.
Milipol Qatar, which began on Tuesday, will continue for three days with the participation of 200 exhibitors from 22 countries. (end) nnd.gta
