KUWAIT, May 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwait expresses its sympathy and solidarity with the US over the killing of a number of students and a teacher at an elementary school in Yuvaldi, Texas, the foreign ministry said on Tuesday.
Kuwait offers its sincere condolences and sympathy to the American leadership, government and people, as well as to the families of the victims, read a ministry statement.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced earlier today that 14 students and one teacher were killed in a shooting inside the school, noting that the shooter was an 18-year-old from the city, who was also killed. (end)
