Iranian, Omani leaders meet in Oman, discuss bolstering relations

KUWAIT, May 23 (KUNA) -- The Sultan of Oman Haitham Bin Tariq and Iran's President Ibrahim Raisi discussed in a Muscat meeting on Monday means to bolster bilateral ties in all fields.
Both leaders held official talks at Sultan's Palace in Muscat, tackling means of enhancing and supporting the deep-rooted ties between Omani and Iranian people, the Omani New Agency (ONA) added.
Oman and Iran have signed eight memorandums of understanding as well as four cooperation programs in a number of fields as part of the current official one-day visit of President Raisi to Oman. (end) hmd.lb
