KUWAIT, May 21 (KUNA) -- Minister of Information and Culture Dr. Hamad Roh Al-Deen said that Kuwaiti citizens have a high level of electoral awareness, commending the success of the elections and the cooperation between candidates and voters in completing this process.
In a statement to KUNA Saturday, he underlined the great role of members of the Municipal Council in advancing national action and coordinating with the executive authority and the government side.
The Ministry of Information is providing coverage of the elections, which began this morning, through all its sectors, including radio and television, to provide updates until the results are announced and the winners are determined, he pointed out.
He commended the role of the judiciary and all employees of the Ministry of the Interior, as well as state agencies participating for this success. (end) mak.lr
