KUWAIT, May 20 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Information gets prepared to cover the 2022 municipal election due on Saturday (tomorrow), Minister of Information and Minister of Culture Hamad Roh El-Din said Friday.
Speaking to KUNA in a statement, the minister said that support by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Deputy Amir and the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the democratic approach is a historical and cultural legacy to Kuwait to make it a beacon of enlightenment.
The ministry has mobilized its technical and media teams with their equipment to air the poll from inside all constituencies nationwide, he said.
Covering the election will start with voting, counting votes and until declaring the final official results, he said.
He pointed out that the process will be aired on the Kuwait TV, Radio and official social media websites of the ministry.
The aim of this is to help all people keep posted on the electoral process second by second, he stressed, expressing appreciation to all teams for their efforts. (end)
