KUWAIT, May 17 (KUNA) -- President the Kuwaiti Supreme Judicial Council and Court of Cassation Counsellor, Ahmad Al-Ajeel, discussed Tuesday with President of the Court of Cassation in Turkey, Mehmet Akarca, mutual collaboration on judicial matters and issues of common interest.
Counselor Al-Ajeel stated to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the visit affirms the depth of ties between the two nations as well as Kuwait's keenness on developing and bolstering relations on various fronts, especially the judicial, in what serves the interest of the Kuwaiti people.
He mentioned that the Kuwaiti judicial system was presented during the meeting, highlighting the focal points that affected social and political lives, and reflected the independence and integrity of judicial authority.
Al-Ajeel commended the Turkish cooperation relating to the economic cases of Kuwaiti citizens' investments in the Turkish republic and ways of eliminating hurdles in their way.
The counselor also stressed the necessity of continuing such meetings to yield even more judicial and legal bilateral agreements. (end) dd.aai
