KUWAIT, May 14 (KUNA) -- Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on Saturday congratulated Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his election as president of the United Arab Emirates.
The Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported that the Bahraini monarch sent a congratulatory cable to Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed, expressing his sincere congratulations and best wishes for the precious trust placed in him by his brothers, members of the Federal Supreme Council, the rulers of the Emirates.
He wished Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed success in doing his duty and meeting the ambitions of the UAE people for further development and prospeirty, and in serving joint Gulf and Arab action. (end)
