KUWAIT, Feb 23 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem cultural center released on Wednesday its program for the national holidays starting this weekend, offering visitors a wide array of patriotic-themed events and activities that will keep them entertained.
Among these events is a contest enabling teenage poets to put their gift of gab into paper to express their patriotic zeal in no more than 350 words, subsequently reciting their works on stage, according to the center's program posted on its Instagram page.
Photography aficionados have also been invited for a best wildlife photo contest, in addition to a competition for kids serenading spectators with patriotic songs, the program showed, urging all those interested in participating to apply via email at academy@ascckw.com.
These contests are in addition to a myriad of workshops on subjects running the gamut from science and art to outer space and history, it said. (end) shd.nam
