Speaker Al-Ghanim opens special session proposing law on KCB capital increase

KUWAIT, Jan 25 (KUNA) -- National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim opened the special session Tuesday which was based on a parliamentary request to consider a law proposing to increase the capital of Kuwait Credit Bank (KCB).
The request also includes discussing the residential and real estate parliamentary committee's report on amending the first paragraph of Article 6 of Law No. 30 of 1965 regarding the establishment of the bank.
In that regard, the second paragraph of Article 72 of the assembly's statute states that the speaker could call on the assembly to convene prior to regular timing if seen as necessary, and he must call on it if requested by government or at least 10 members of parliament as topic of discussion is underscored in invitation.
