OPEC basket down USD 1.9 to settle on USD 87.46 pb

VIENNA, Jan 24 (KUNA) -- The price of the OPEC crudes went down by USD 1.9 to settle on USD 87.46 per barrel on Friday as opposed to USD 88.55 pb last Thursday, said the international oil cartel on Monday. According to the OPEC bulletin, the average oil price of the OPEC basket in 2021 was at USD 69.89 per barrel. Introduced on June 16, 2005, the OPEC basket is currently made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Djeno (Congo), Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Rabi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
