KUWAIT, Jan 24 (KUNA) -- The United Arab Emirates' (UAE) Ministry of Defense said Monday it intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles fired by the houthi militias against the Arab Gulf State, the second attack by the terrorist group in a week.
No human casualties were reported by the attack and parts of the ballistic missiles fell in different areas around Abu Dhabi, the ministry said in a statement, cited by the official WAM news agency.
It reaffirmed readiness to deal with any threats and would take all measures to protect the country's territories.
The Houthis attacked with drones three oil tankers in Mussafah area, UAE, last Monday that killed three civilians and injured six others. (end)
