Saudi-led coalition launches military operation on Houthi targets

JEDDAH, Jan 20 (KUNA) -- The Saudi-led coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen executed a military operation against Houthi militias' strongholds in Yemen.
According to Saudi Press Agency's Twitter account, the coalition said the operation aimed to protect innocent civilians against the Houthis' terrorist threats.
Al-Hudaydah port is considered a threat to regional and international security, as the militias use it to transport weapons, the coalition noted.
It added that it had targeted a weapon warehouse in Al-Hudaydah (end) nsa.ag
